Combines two 50 A, 125/250 V marina pedestal power outlets to provide an output with a capacity of up to 100 A and 125/250 V, with neutral available.

Like other Smart Ys —including those from other brands— our Ae Smart Y is not compatible with pedestal receptacles that operate with GFCI 30mA breakers.

With our Ae Smart Y 100 Amp Adapter & Converter Box, you can solve your connection problem by obtaining up to 100 Amp 125/250V power output at the built-in outlet or receptacle, from two single inputs of 50 Amp 125/250V single phase (nominal 120/240V), obtained from the outlets from a dock pedestal.

Our Ae Smart Y analyzes and compares the two 50 Amp connections through an internal electronic module and adds both capacities if they are compatible, to obtain up to 100 Amps with 125/250v single phase voltage. If 50 Amp connections are not compatible, our Ae Smart Y offers up to 50 Amps in the built-in receptacle with IEC60309 configuration.

This AE SMART Y Combination Box offers advantages that other similar devices do not have:

• Digital voltmeter and ammeter. Allows monitoring "easly" the voltage that is delivered through the Output receptacle and verifying the current consumption at all times
• Output receptacle built-in on the box. It makes connection easier and reduces the weight and dimensions of the device
• Neutral available for the load on the Output receptacle. Not available with other brands of similar Y-adapters
• Lighter and more compact: thanks to its reduced dimensions compared to other Y-adapters, our Ae Smart Y Box offers ease and convenience when transporting or storing it while not in use
• Works as an adapter between a 50A pedestal receptacle and a 100A shore cord plug. This can be taken advantage of when a pedestal with a single phase 100A 240V (125/250V) outlet is not available
• Two 50A 125/250V input plugs fully molded and sealed on the cord. Adds safety and avoids the problem of corrosion by humidity inside the plugs
• Input pilot lights. Status indicator on each plug
• Output pilot lights. Indicating the available capacity in the Output receptacle
• Anti-slip supports on the base. Allow the device to be stacked when it is stored, without causing damage or scratches

To CONNECT: Place both breakers of the power pedestal outlets in the OFF position, connect the Input 1 and 2 plugs and the load plug to the 100 Amp Output and finally turn ON both breakers on the dock pedestal.

To DISCONNECT: Turn OFF both dock breakers and disconnect the Input 1 and 2 plugs, as well as the plug connected to the 100 Amp Output. This device must always be powered (Input 1 and 2) through 50 Amp breakers.

This device does not protect against overloads or short circuits that may be produced by the load connected to the 100 Amp Output. This device does not provide galvanic isolation, for which you should use an isolation transformer.

OUTPUT: With power at Input 1, up to 50 Amp load at Output are assured. When there is power on both Input 1 and Input 2, if both inputs are compatible, this device will provide a capacity of up to 100 Amp at the Output.
