NORMALLY USED to CONNECT a Multivoltage Input Frequency Converter or a Multivoltage Input Transformer to 208V Three-phase. 
This adapter only allows to take 208V 3-phase power through a 380V 4P/5W connector, "without having to change the plug at the end of the shore power cord".
IMPORTANT:
This adapter is designed for connection or pinout compatibility only.
It does not convert voltage or frequency.
Ensure that both, power source and equipment, are electrically compatible before use.
