The Ae DOCK ISOLATION TRANSFORMER + SMART MONITORING combines the advantages of a 240/120v (125/250v) single phase output Isolation Transformer 50 Amp capacity with Remote Power Monitoring (voltage, current, watts and more).
Smart Monitoring also has a High/Low Voltage Protector, which can be custom programmed to identify and block high and low voltages coming from the dock and  overcurrents due to malfunctioning of electrical equipment on board.
The Remote Power Monitoring, gives you peace of mind by being able to know in real time, remotely and from anywhere through a cell phone and a Wi-Fi connection, the voltage, current and power conditions of the dock's electrical supply, receiving alerts if any abnormal situation occurs.
The functions of the Ae Dock Isolation Transformer + Smart Monitoring are:
1- FUNCTION : MARINE ISOLATION TRANSFORMER
* Provides galvanic isolation between the dock power supply and the vessel's electrical system
* Built-in voltmeter and ammeter, which allows easy monitoring of the power supplied by the dock pedestal
* With electrostatic shield between the primary and secondary, to discharge high voltage spikes from the dock to ground and protect electrical appliances/equipment on board
* Solves the problem of ground leakage currents, which can trip the dock pedestal breaker and the shore power input breaker on board
* Prevents electrolytic corrosion in engines, generators, propulsion shafts, heat exchangers, cooling system pipes and pumps and other metal parts in contact with sea water
2- FUNCTION : SMART MONITORING
* At all times and as long as the AE Dock Isolation Transformer is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the voltage, current and power values ​​can be observed in real time via your phone in the app.
* When the device disconnects/turns off the power output and enters protection mode, due to the output voltage not being within the programmed voltage range as acceptable, the Smart Monitoring sends a remote alarm to the app on the associated phone, indicating the voltage anomaly or also if an overcurrent happens.
* The application can be used to consult the records of voltage and current/consumption behavior, as well as the record of disconnections and reconnections due to protection events.
* Voltage monitoring and protection settings are easily set and reset via the device's display or via the app in your phone, for which the Ae Dock Isolation Transformer must have access to a Wi-Fi connection.
* The output voltage range can be set as tight or close to 240/120v as the user requires.
3- FUNCTION : HIGH/LOW VOLTAGE AND OVERCURRENT PROTECTOR
* Through the monitor/LED display, this function allows to set limits for the input voltage, preventing very high or very low voltages from causing damage to the equipment being powered by the isolation transformer, both through the 240v and 120v outputs.
* The protector can also be set to establish overcurrent protection.
* The protection is easily programmable according to your needs.
* Factory setting: 255v High Voltage / 215v Low Voltage
* When the input voltage to the transformer exceeds 255v (High Voltage) or falls below 215v (Low Voltage), the transformer output voltage is interrupted/turned off, until the voltage returns within the set range. At that time, for safety reasons, a time delay is activated for reconnection, after which the voltage at the transformer output will be available/turned on again.
* Initial start-up time: 18 sec / Reconnection time after High/Low Voltage: 60 sec
4- FUNCTION : SOFT START
* This version also has a built-in soft start, to limit the inrush current on transformer start-up. This solves the problem of inrush current or starting spikes and prevents the input breaker or dock pedestal breaker from tripping, which can occasionally be a headache.
